I went to shop at my local Shop-Rite on Friday the 8th, parking was terrible.

I waited for quite a while and drove around searching for a space. Finally a man was getting ready to pull out. All of a sudden an armored truck from the Coin Depot Corporation pulled up and right in the middle of parking aisle and right in behind the man who was trying to pull out. He could not pull out, so I could not pull in and the truck would not move. They must have sat there for about 10 minutes. Finally one of the two men in the truck got out and told me to move. I told him to move himself; he walked away and went into the Shop-Rite. Finally the driver moved the truck and parked in front of the entrance to the store, many people could not get in.

I called the office and first spoke to the dispatcher who passed me on to the head honcho. I told him what happened, he asked for a badge number, of course I had none. I told him how long they stood there and blocked the area; he said they are only supposed to be there for 4 minutes each stop. I said they were there a lot longer and described the man who got out of the truck. He said you know they are all ex military or ex police officers. I did not respond because that is no creditability.

When I told my friend Don who lives in another area on NJ, he went to a supermarket in East Brunswick, a truck from the same company parked in two handicapped parking spaces while making a pickup or delivery.

I have recently been seeing these huge armored trucks around the area transporting currency. They park in front of a business and many times block the road from people who want to pass.
