Cheri & Samuel Mitchell are disability rights activist and advocates. Sam has told his story of being hijacked by the system and spending 2 long years in a nursing facility. Cheri has helped close to 30 people to either get out or helped to prevent people from going in a nursing facility. She worked 2 years at disABILITY LINK and now works for the Georgia Advocacy office. Cheri & Sam are involved in People first and ADAPT. We are involved in several areas of advocacy.
